The Senior Elite Camp

The objective in this program is designed to make a goaltenders movement a conditioned response to game situations. They will have more control in their execution of save movements and their mobility in the crease. I will develop their positional and tactical game. I will address the inner game of goaltending by teaching the mental skills necessary to achieve success. Mental skills, such as concentration and focus, must be improved in the same manner as physical skills.

The Senior Program will include all of the Fundamental skill plus the following:

Crossovers • Quick Step • Butterfly Slide Shooting • Rebound Control • Wraparounds
• Angles • 2 Pad Drop • Passing • Covering loose pucks • Pass Outs Poke Checks

Off Ice Training

I have comprised a comprehensive development program that will increase each goaltenders concentration, balance, leg power, flexibility, hand eye co-ordination, agility, upper body strength, aerobic/anaerobic condition. Dry land training is done every day in camp and students will learn a program that they will easily be able to maintain and stick to when they return to their team and daily conditioning program. Every goaltender will take part in a pro fitness test.
